History: In 1858, the Christian Church of Panora regularly met at this school for services. By 1866, the congregation moved to Cass #4. During the mining period, this was a large school. It had two rooms and two teachers. School enrollment varied from 30 to 60 . It was considered a wild and tough school. |

Victory #6: Also known as Dubbs and Coon Valley School. Location: SW Sec 13, Victory Twp. History: Built in 1882. In 1913, the women of Victory Twp No. 6 organized the "Coon Valley Ladies Aid." The women helped the Sunday school held at the school and ministers who preached at the school by raising money for this purpose. |
