Guthrie County Historical Village

All of our projects are completed by volunteers who lend their valuable time, experience, and expertise to the Historical Village. If you would like to help us with any of the projects listed below, please visit our Volunteers section for more information about the project and volunteering.

This is the next big project on our list — adding the pavilion to the Panora Depot to restore it to its 1906 appearance.

Ed & Cece Hellman donated the railroad car to the Village in 2011 and it will be moving to its new location, next to the Panora Depot, in 2012.

GUTHRIE COUNTY HISTORICAL VILLAGE

Several original items from the old Lenon Mill, including a swing sifter, were recently donated to the museum.  A new display will be created this season to house the large artifacts.
