Panorama Youth First (PYF) is a non-profit organization to promote youth development in the Panorama School district. The goals of the organization are to improve youth activities including sports, academics, recreation, and community. It is felt that with improved recreation and academics for younger kids in the area, there is a better chance that kids will learn and be occupied by activities that are wholesome and promote quality youth development. By having these activities available, the community is a more inviting place for families to live and for our kids to grow up and return to. The organization started in 2005 and received Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 501c tax exempt status. The focus of funding is directed toward kids ages 4 - 13 in the Panorama School District.

To date, PYF has received requests for over $10,000 in funding for items ranging from football, soccer, basketball baseball, and libraries. PYF is looking forward to funding more of these items in the future along with expanded possibilities. Groups or organizations apply and we are helping kids through the organizations. Possibilities include a fishing derby, day camps, OM teams, and Parks and Recreation departments.

PYF is working to help keep participation fees low for kids. We are currently providing financial assistance to various football, soccer, and basketball programs as well as helping improve our little league fields.

PYF is always looking for other ways to aid our youth and would appreciate any ideas from the public on how we can improve the opportunities for kids ages 4 - 13.

We need you to know that PYF is there for your kids.

1. If any child needs financial assistance to participate in a sport or activity, please contact either the coaches, teacher or a PYF director. Our goal is that no child is left out of an activity for financial reasons.

2. If there is an area that you see that needs financial aid to benefit kids, please contact us.

FUNDRAISING

PFY raises funds through donations and an annual golf tournament. Local businesses donate to the golf tournament knowing that their tax deductible contribution will aid local kids and improve the communities that comprise the Panorama School District. A major concept is that through these donations, PFY can help out with funding and lessen the individual requests for donations from these organizations. We encourage all residents to support local businesses.
